Zonta is a global community of more than 27,000 women and men in 1,133 Zonta clubs in 62 countries. Zonta believes in making the world a better place by empowering women.
As voluntary member of the regional Zonta Club I lead a crowdfunding for the cantonal women’s refuge, from idea to execution. We launched a digital campaign in 4 languages with strong facts and visuals complemented with traditional media. We raised CHF 25’000, directly benefitting the employment of additional staff for the women’s refuge.

«For the crowdfunding, Margreet worked closely with the leaders of the Graubünden Women’s Shelter, and she also involved the Zonta Club Chur to make our work more thorough and broader, but most importantly, to get as many resources as possible to create an effective crowdfunding. Her experience and expertise have contributed a lot to make us such a success. We were fascinated by her cheerful nature and the will to always find a new way out. Despite some hurdles, she managed to make the project a unique success. She has a talent for organising and always keeps an overview.
