Corporate and brand communications for sustainability program

Cocoa Life is Mondelez International’s global cocoa sustainability program. It helps to tackle the complex challenges that cocoa farmers and their communities face, including climate change, gender inequality, poverty and child labour. Working across six cocoa-growing countries with 200’00+ farmers in 2,500+ communities, Cocoa Life helps to turn cocoa into a more sustainable business, create empowered communities and conserve and restore forests.

Responsible for the global Cocoa Life communications, I developed and delivered the strategy in cooperation with global and regional Corporate Affairs teams. This included content and development for all channels, newsletters, press releases, impact publications and the Cocoa Life website.

It also meant guarding the equity of Cocoa Life’s visual identity and being the link between brands/regions’ needs and globally developed communications. And contributing to strategic consumer brand development (such as Cote d’Or, Cadbury or Milka) and activation in market.
